Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Todoyou is a productivity workspace for habits, tasks, journaling, focus, and personal finance. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and — most importantly — what we do not take from your device.
We designed Todoyou as an offline-first product. Your daily life data is yours. It is stored locally on the device you use unless you later choose an optional feature that requires otherwise.
2. Data We Collect
By default, Todoyou does not require an account to use core features. We collect as little as possible.
If you install or use Todoyou, we may process:
- App analytics (minimal): anonymous or aggregated events such as crash reports, feature usage counts, and performance metrics, used only to keep the product stable and useful.
- Device and app metadata: OS version, app version, and similar diagnostics needed to debug issues.
- Support messages: if you email us, we receive the content you send and the address you use to contact us.
We do not sell personal data. We do not build advertising profiles from your habits, tasks, journals, or financial entries.
3. Offline-First & Local Storage
This is the core of Todoyou’s privacy model. Habits, tasks, pathways, journals, notes, focus sessions, and financial records (including income and expenses) stay on your device by default. They are written to local storage on that device and are not uploaded to Todoyou servers as a condition of using the app.
Because this data lives locally, you remain in control of backups, exports, and deletion on the device itself. Clearing app data or uninstalling Todoyou will remove locally stored content unless you have made your own backup.
If we ever offer optional cloud sync, export to a service you choose, or account-based backup, those features will be explicit, opt-in, and described before any of your local records leave the device.
4. Third-Party Services
Todoyou may use a small set of infrastructure providers to distribute the app (for example, Apple App Store, Google Play, or similar storefronts) and, where enabled, to collect crash or analytics events. Those providers process data under their own terms and only as needed to deliver that function.
Payment processors or store billing systems may handle purchase receipts if you buy Todoyou. We do not receive your full payment card number through the app.
We do not share your locally stored productivity or financial content with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
5. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data we hold — typically limited to support correspondence and any optional analytics identifiers, not the local journals or ledgers that never left your device.
You can also:
- Delete local Todoyou data from your device at any time.
- Opt out of non-essential analytics where the platform or app settings allow it.
- Request that we delete support emails or related records we store, subject to legal retention needs.
To exercise a right that applies to data we actually hold, contact us using the details below. We will respond as required by applicable law.
6. Contact Us
Questions about this policy or Todoyou’s privacy practices can be sent through the Support page on todoyou.co, or by using the contact channel listed in the app.
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the product.
